Super Healthy Smoothie Gives You Energy All Day
If you’ve got a busy morning at home, work piling up in the office, and you just don’t have much time to eat through the day, here’s a smoothie recipe that you can drink in the morning and it will keep you energized and alert until you have a chance to eat again.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/4 cup of coconut water
1 tbsp of almond butter
1 scoop of protein (hemp, whey, etc)
3 tbsp ground flax
1 large banana
1 cup of frozen berries
1 huge handful of spinach
1 huge handful of kale
1/2 of a medium cucumber
3 sticks of celery
Mix all of these ingredients together into a blender. The Ninja blender works quite well for it’s price of around $100, proving that you don’t need a $500 blender just to enjoy a fresh and healthy smoothie. You can add in some yogurt if you like, Greek yogurt is best.
This will make a blender full of smoothie, and a couple services can easily tide you over throughout the day. Giving you tons of nutrients while staying super low fat and low calorie this smoothie is ultra healthy.
You can’t beat a smoothie in the morning, there’s no such thing as a more delicious way to get so much healthy food inside of you at once. This smoothie is like drinking a protein shake with a lot less calories, it’s like eating bananas and peanut butter but the almond butter is a much healthier choice, and it’s like eating a giant salad with spinach and kale without any fattening dressing. It takes the best part of multiple meals, combines them into one, and it’s absolutely delicious!

The great thing about making smoothies in the morning is that we’re often still a bit groggy first thing in the morning, so you don’t need to be precise with your smoothie measurements, just eye ball it – they always turn out great!
